Thursday, May 17, 2012              Day 2

Track athletes: The bus will leave today at 3:25 for our meet in Wisconsin Heights. Athletes should be dressed ready to run and on the bus by 3:25. Please remember to bring a change of clothes so you can turn in your uniform prior to leaving the meet or when we return to the Middle School.

8th graders: E-mails have been sent home regarding Social Studies screener results. Please check your parents’ home email for results.

Reminder to all 7th grade band members: report to the band room at the end of your lunch period today at 11:50 to run the combined number. You will be sent to your 5th period class after 8th grade bell rings at 12:10.

Swimming? Biking? Running? Why not try a triathlon? Registration forms for the Sauk Prairie triathlon will be held June 2 beginning at 11:00 a.m. at Sauk Prairie HS. Registration forms are in the cafeteria or you can get them from Mr. Fester.

8th Graders: Do you have any parting words, advice or stories that you want to share before you leave SPMS? Well, here’s your chance! Stop in at Miss Olson’s room any day next week during your milk break or after school to film a 10-20 second video clip that will be shared with your fellow 8th graders. See Miss Olson if you have questions.

Mt. Olympus field trip money will be collected at lunch today at lunch for 8th graders. Cost is $15. Sixth and 7th graders who have not paid for the Noah’s Ark field trip can pay in the office at milk break or before school the rest of the week. Please take care of library fines before paying. All payments must be made by Friday, May 18.

Summer Gymnastics for Middle School and High School students will be held on Monday, Wednesdays and Thursday evenings from 6:00-8:00 at Grand Ave. the program is FREE for students in our school district! Students can sign up for any combination of evenings. Register at the Community Center or through Skyward Family Access.

To all actors and actresses: Next fall’s drama production will be the Jungle Book (not the musical). If you want to audition for this show, get a script and more information from Ms. Sullivan in room 220, or in the main office.
